Work with me
I work with adults and couples going through life transitions, in periods of acute stress, or those who are interested in gaining insight into how to live more genuine, authentic lives.
I approach therapy from a collaborative, relational place, believing in the importance of the therapeutic relationship built between clients and therapist as a tool for change.
Individual Therapy
One-on-one
45 minutes
Individual therapy supports you with whatever is most pressing. This can change over time, but common areas are:
Anxiety and/or depression
Career questions and burnout
Relationship issues
Low self-esteem
Social anxiety
Life transitions (e.g. parenthood, breakups, career changes)
Couples Therapy
Couples | Friends | Siblings
50 minutes
Couples therapy can focus on any variety of issues, but common ones people come for are:
Communication incompatibility
Feeling stuck in the same arguments
Recovering from infidelity
Family planning
Considering or navigating breakups
Cultural and familial conflicts
My approach to therapy.
I approach therapy from a psychodynamic lens, which means that I believe there is value not just in understanding what your symptoms are today, but also how they came to be—whether they are ways we learned to adapt in situations that no longer exist; whether they are how we act in response to a feeling we aren’t even aware we are experiencing. We’ll work together to uncover some of the “why” underneath the “what”, to provide real, lasting, embodied change.
