Hi, I’m Frances.
I believe that all people are resilient, adaptive, and capable of change, even in moments when they feel stuck or disconnected in their lives.
I work with adults and couples going through life transitions, in periods of acute stress, or those who are interested in gaining insight into how to live more genuine, authentic lives.
I recognize that in this moment of growing injustice and diminishing structural support, people are now doubly tasked with finding their way through life. I'm interested in working with those who struggle to manage their own or others’ high expectations in uncertain times, and who are seeking more connection in their relationships with others and with themselves.
I especially enjoy working with first and second generation Americans, and others who navigate intersecting and conflicting identities and sets of values.
I believe strongly in people’s ability to create the lives they want for themselves.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade building a career in the corporate and tech worlds, and earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College, and my Bachelor’s in Economics from Harvard University.
