While therapy is as individual as people, I work from a psychodynamic lens, which means that we’ll work to explore both what you struggle with day-to-day, as well as how subconscious or old patterns of behavior or thought impact you now.
I work with all clients on at least a weekly basis, and do not offer less frequent therapy at this time. Clinical experience and research indicate that therapy is most successful on a weekly basis, at least. As you’ll find once you start, a lot happens in a week. Therapy is an investment in yourself, and you are worth more than a quick fix or infrequent check-in.

While there’s no set or standard way that therapy works for everyone, you should at least be able to tell within the first ~3 sessions or so if it feels like I’m a good fit. What I mean by that is: do you feel like you can open up to me, do you trust me, do you believe you can trust me? This is the foundation we’d need to have to believe we can work together effectively.
Then, I’d say you should feel “symptom relief” within the first ~3 months. That can look like understanding more deeply what’s been bothering you—even if you don’t yet know what the solution is. Or maybe being able to finally say the thing out loud that you didn’t even realize you were holding in. Either way, something often shifts for people within the first few months of therapy, and we will work together at whatever pace is comfortable to make connections and learn the tools needed to bring about change.

My full fee rates run from $225-$300, depending on how we’ll be working together and if you’re looking for individual or couples therapy. We’ll discuss this in more detail in the consultation.

I am not an in-network provider with insurance, but will issue “superbills” each month that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. That means you’ll pay for each session, and then your insurance will reimburse you a portion of the fees. If your plan has out of network benefits, it’s common to be reimbursed 50-80% of your fees, and many plans will reimburse at 100% after your out-of-network deductible is met.
You can ask your insurance company:
What is my out-of-network coverage for individual therapy? (CPT code: 90834)
What is my out-of-network coverage for couples or family therapy? (CPT code: 90847)
What is my deductible & how much of it has been met?
You can also check here directly for an estimate of your benefits.

I have a fixed number of sliding scale spots available, primarily for those who do not have out-of-network benefits through insurance, or those who are making minimum wage. Feel free to reach out to ask what options are available.
